Building the post with Dentapreg™ PINPost always involves several basic procedures repeated in all particular clinical situations:

1. Clean the root canal 2. Etch the root canal 3. Wash and dry root canal



4. Apply adhesive system 5. Remove adhesive system access 6. Light cure adhesive system



7. Cement root canal

and PINPost

8. Insert PINPost(s) into the

root canal

9. Remove overflowing

cement



10. Light cure the cement 11. Build the core

12. Cut the PINPost(s)

to required length

General Remarks for Working with Dentapreg™

  • Dental stone model is a good training tool for trials of Dentapreg™ PINPost.
  • Adhere according to the acid etching and adhesive procedures recommended by the manufacturer of the etching agents and adhesive.
  • It is recommended to use a maximum Dentapreg™ PINPosts to fill the root canal and ensure the maximal retention area for the core.
  • Most commercially available light or dual curing cements can be used to bond Dentapreg™ PINPost.
  • Cut the Dentapreg™ PINPosts to required length always after the building of the core.
