Instructions of Use

Building the post with Dentapreg™ PINPost always involves several basic procedures repeated in all particular clinical situations:

1. Clean the root canal 2. Apply adhesive system
3. Light cure adhesive system




4. Cement root canal

and Dentapreg™ PINPost

 5. Insert Dentapreg™ PINPost(s) into the

root canal

 6. Remove overflowing

cement



7. Light cure the cement 8. Build the core
9.  Cut the Dentapreg™ PINPost(s)

to required length

General Remarks for Working with Dentapreg™ PINPost

  • Dental stone model is a good training tool for trials of  Dentapreg™ PINPost
  • Adhere according to the acid etching and adhesive procedures recommended by the manufacturer of the etching agents and adhesive
  • It is recommended to use a maximum Dentapreg™ PINPosts to fill the root canal and ensure the maximal retention area for the core
  • Most commercially available light or dual curing cements can be used to bond Dentapreg™ PINPost
  • Cut the Dentapreg™ PINPosts to required length always after the building of the core
